Lynx River is a remote settlement in Canada’s Northwest Territories. The presence of both native and white residents sets the stage for both cultural and personal conflicts.

Old friendships and new relationships are put to the test as these two worlds collide. Corporal Michelle Kenidi copes with balancing single motherhood and her career as the town’s only native RCMP officer.
